Grand Canyon Rig

I needed to rig at a place where I could not back into the water very far so I borrowed some roller tubes from Michael Denoyer and used them to roll the boat into the water. Here are some pictures of the set up in my yard. It worked great a week later at Diamond Creek in the Grand Canyon. The trailer has steel  rollers bolted to the tail. While traveling down the highway to the launch area  the roller tubes are deflated,  then blown up to roll the boat into the river.

Is that your rig Walt? I just happened upon your blog. Wish I needed (and could afford!) some rock work.

Not sure if you remember me. I did a rowing trip with you and Steve for Western in 1988 (or 89?). This summer is the first I missed getting down the Grand since 1984. Getting old and getting unneeded.
